The Monument 138R is a socket forming tool designed for creating fitting-free joints in 15mm and 22mm copper pipe. This pipe jointer allows plumbers to join two pieces of copper pipe of equal diameter together without the need for traditional copper fittings, saving both time and material costs on plumbing installations. The tool features a loose former design that enables easier withdrawal after creating the socket joint, preventing damage to the newly formed connection. Once the socket has been formed, the resulting capillary joint can be finished using either soft or hard soldering techniques, providing flexibility depending on the application requirements. Ideal for domestic plumbing work, this dual-size jointer is particularly useful for repair jobs and installations where space is limited or traditional fittings would be impractical. The 138R model accommodates both 15mm and 22mm copper pipes with wall thicknesses of 0.7mm and 0.9mm respectively, covering the most common pipe sizes used in UK residential plumbing systems. Features and Benefits: • Loose former design allows easier tool withdrawal after use • Eliminates the need for copper fittings, reducing material costs • Dual-size capability for both 15mm and 22mm pipes • Creates professional capillary joints suitable for soldering Specifications: Pipe Diameters: 15mm and 22mm Pipe Thickness: 0.7mm and 0.9mm
