The Roughneck Tarmac Rake is a heavy-duty contractor's tool designed for spreading and levelling tarmac, asphalt and similar materials on surfacing projects. Built with an all-steel construction, this tarmac rake delivers the durability and strength required for demanding groundwork applications. The rake head features 16 welded round teeth that provide excellent material distribution whilst minimising drag through dense aggregates. This tooth configuration makes it particularly suitable for levelling hot tarmac, preparing aggregate bases, and grading surfaces on driveways, car parks and road surfacing projects. The 1.7-metre tubular steel handle offers extended reach without compromising structural integrity, reducing the need for excessive bending during prolonged surfacing work. A soft-grip handle section enhances user comfort and reduces hand fatigue during extended shifts, making this rake ideal for professional contractors and groundworkers tackling larger resurfacing jobs.
