The Trend Diamond Complete Sharpening Kit is a comprehensive diamond whetstone set designed for sharpening a wide range of tools used in woodworking, carpentry, model engineering, and general trade applications. At the heart of the kit is a precision, hand-made double-sided credit card diamond stone, offering both fine 600 grit (25 micron) and coarse 300 grit (50 micron) faces. This makes it well suited to fluted and shaped router bits, carbide and HSS turning tools, chisels, plane blades, and carving tools. The kit also includes a 3-inch half round/flat mini tapered file, finished to a fine 600 grit with a contoured split plastic hand-grip. Its tapered profile makes it ideal for woodturning gouge bevels, skews, saw blades, serrated edges, knives, pruners, and a broad range of shaped tooling across woodworking, gardening, and domestic use. Trend's Lapping Fluid is included to optimise diamond abrasive performance, reduce clogging, and cut the risk of rusting by 95% compared to water. A cleaning block helps maintain the life of the stones, and a sharpening booklet provides practical guidance on sharpening router bits, sawblades, chisels, planes, and knives. Stones are guaranteed for five years when used with Trend Lapping Fluid.
