Trend DIY & Hardware
Product description
The Trend STC Spiral Upcut Plastic Router Cutter is a single O flute spiral cutter bit designed for clean, precise routing in plastics, acrylics, and a wide range of engineered materials. Manufactured from special high-grade sub-micrograin carbide with very high tolerance grinding, this cutter delivers smooth, accurate results across an impressive range of substrates. The super high polished cutting edge features a unique mirror finish that reduces chip re-welding, promotes effortless chip evacuation, and extends tool life compared to standard carbide alternatives. The up-cut spiral geometry allows for plunge cutting and ejects chips upwards for efficient material removal during routing operations. Suitable for use on both hand-held routers and CNC routers, this cutter is well suited to production environments where increased feed rates and more linear metres per session are a priority. Designed for use with acrylic, PVC, PVC trim boards, polycarbonate, HDPE, ABS, UHMW, HIPS, PET, polystyrene, polypropylene (PP), acetal, nylon, foam board, solid surface, wood, and manmade boards, this is a versatile tool for fabricators, signmakers, and shopfitters working with plastic and engineered sheet materials. Features and Benefits: • Sub-micrograin carbide construction with high tolerance grinding for precision cutting • Single O flute design enables faster cutting with increased feed rates • Mirror-polished cutting edge reduces chip re-welding and improves finish quality • Up-cut spiral geometry supports plunge cutting and efficient chip ejection • Compatible with both hand-held routers and CNC routers • Suitable for a broad range of plastics, engineered materials, wood, and foam boards Specifications: Shank Diameter: 1/4" Cutting Diameter (Metric): 6.3mm Cutting Diameter (Imperial): 1/4" Cut Length (Metric): 19mm Cut Length (Imperial): 3/4" Overall Length (Metric): 51mm Type: Up-cut Spiral
