This 6mm x 70mm Forgefast Torx Wood Screw in a pack of 100 provides substantial length with maximum diameter for heavy-duty structural applications. The 70mm length is ideal for fixing timber through plasterboard to blockwork, joining very thick timber sections, and creating robust structural connections whilst the 6mm diameter ensures reliable holding power, excellent shear resistance, and superior pull-out performance throughout the extended length. The universally accepted Torx® compatible drive ensures reliable torque transfer and eliminates driver slippage, allowing for confident installation in demanding deep penetration applications. Its patented drill and drive thread design reduces splitting whilst preventing the jacking and spinning often experienced with large-diameter long screws. The reinforced countersunk neck delivers superior holding power, whilst recessed ribs ensure improved countersinking with reduced surface dust. Protected by the advanced Elementech 400 coating, these screws offer an anti-corrosive finish that outlasts conventional zinc coatings by up to six times. This environmentally responsible finish contains no Cr6+ and has undergone Salt Spray testing to 400 hours, making it perfect for structural interior environments. Each box of 100 is supplied complete with a Torx® compatible bit for immediate use.
