Great fixing for woodworking attachment of counter-battens and wood based panels (e.g. suction-proof fastening of roof battens). Application • The non-threaded part must completely reach through the upper component. The washer head then pulls the upper component tighter to the lower component with each thread rotation. • Advantages of a washer head compared to a countersunk head: Better tightening of connections also of warped board. Washer head guarantees double the amount of power delivery. Special Properties • Wide overlying washer head Washer head • WIROX P3J: The surface with extremely high protection against corrosion • SPAX 4CUT cutter (For screw lengths of 160 mm and larger): significantly reduces the screwing in torque • Partial thread: firm tightening of the upper wood layer • SPAX T-STAR plus: secure bit grip, no cam-out effect, optimal force transmission Features & Benefits • Considerably reduced screwing-in torque and reduced splitting effect • Length specification and manufacturer logo on the head • Higher head traction forces than countersunk head screws • SPAX 4CUT point allows screwing in without pre-drilling (wood-dependent), reduces splitting as square end displaces the fibres • SPAX ground serrations: up to the point – quick and secure fastening Specifications • Diameter: 8mm • Length: 280mm • Quantity: 50
