This 115mm diameter, 80 grit zirconium oxide flap disc is specifically designed for finer finishing work and final surface preparation where a smoother result is required. The 80g grit rating makes this disc ideal for blending welds, removing light surface imperfections and achieving a refined finish before painting or coating applications. Compatible with 115mm angle grinders fitted with a 22.23mm bore, this disc combines enhanced cutting performance with a finer finish capability. The self-sharpening zirconium oxide construction maintains consistent performance throughout the disc's life, whilst the strong X-weight polyester-cotton backing allows flexible and controlled cutting on medium to high-pressure applications. The T-29 conical shape with 15–25 degree angled flaps ensures effective contact on both contoured and flat-edged workpieces, providing versatility across different geometries. Suitable for sanding, grinding, stock removal and weld preparation of metal, carbon steel, stainless steel, sheet metal, wood and plastic.
