The Sealey CVJ Boots Tool is an innovative pneumatic device designed to streamline CV joint boot replacement on cars and light commercial vans. This specialist workshop tool eliminates the need to remove drive shafts from the vehicle or CV joints from the drive shaft, dramatically reducing labour time by up to 70% whilst preventing potential damage to the CV joint itself. Featuring a durable composite body with a straightforward control valve, this tool operates from a standard workshop air supply at up to 116psi (8bar). The intelligent design allows the tool to be disconnected from the air line whilst pressurised, maintaining the arms in the open position until the release button is pressed, giving mechanics complete control during the boot installation process. Suitable for CV joints with diameters up to 110mm, this time-saving tool transforms a traditionally messy and labour-intensive job into a clean, efficient procedure. The 1/4"BSP air inlet ensures compatibility with standard workshop air systems. Features and Benefits: • Saves up to 70% labour time on CV boot replacement jobs • Installs boots without removing drive shafts or CV joints • Maintains pressure when disconnected from air line for precise control • Composite body construction for durability and reduced weight • No mess installation protects workshop cleanliness Specifications: Air Inlet Size: 1/4"BSP Brand: Sealey Maximum Air Pressure: 116psi(8bar) Maximum Joint Diameter: Ø110mm Nett Weight: 2kg
