The Sealey 8 Piece Brake Pad Thickness Gauge Set is a professional diagnostic tool designed for quick and accurate assessment of brake pad wear on vehicles. This comprehensive gauge set enables mechanics and technicians to measure brake pad lining thickness without removing the wheel assembly, saving valuable time during vehicle inspections and brake service work. Featuring eight colour-coded blades spanning a range from 2mm to 12mm, this brake pad gauge set covers the complete spectrum of brake pad thickness measurements commonly encountered in automotive workshops. The slim profile blades are designed to fit easily between the brake disc and pad backing plate, allowing measurements to be taken in situ. Each blade is dual-marked with both metric and imperial measurements, providing flexibility for different workshop preferences and technical documentation requirements. The colour-coded system simplifies blade selection during busy workshop operations. Red blades measure 2mm and 3mm, yellow blades cover 4mm, 5mm and 6mm, whilst green blades measure 8mm, 10mm and 12mm thicknesses. This clear visual identification system speeds up the inspection process and helps determine whether brake pads require replacement according to manufacturer specifications.
