The Sealey Air Bag Test Resistor Set is a diagnostic tool designed for testing airbag units and seat belt pretensioner systems in vehicles. This compact testing kit enables automotive technicians and mechanics to safely diagnose component failures within Supplementary Restraint Systems (SRS) without triggering fault codes or dashboard warnings. The set connects in place of an airbag or seat belt pretensioner unit during diagnostic procedures, simulating the electrical resistance of the original component. This allows technicians to isolate faults and determine whether issues lie with the wiring, control module, or the airbag component itself. The kit includes a two ohm resistor along with two probe leads for straightforward connection to vehicle harnesses. Ideal for workshop professionals carrying out airbag system repairs, interior trim work, or comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, this testing set provides a safe method for troubleshooting SRS components. Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's specific instructions and safety procedures when working with airbag systems to ensure proper diagnosis and safe handling of these critical safety components.
