The table can be tilted to +/- 45° and the chuck is a keyed type which can be securely tightened down to ensure the drill bit is firmly clamped in place. A holder is provided on the housing for storing the key. For user safety, the TC-BD 450 has an easily accessible power switch on the front of the machine, and a transparent guard in front of the chuck.
