The Sirius Precision Assorted Blue Tempered Steel Shim Stock pack provides six precision-ground shim sheets in a range of thicknesses, ideal for alignment, adjustment, and gap-filling applications across engineering and fabrication trades. Each sheet measures 6" x 12" and is manufactured from high carbon 1095 spring steel, hardened and tempered to deliver consistent springback, excellent wear resistance, and reliable dimensional stability under load. The distinctive blue finish is characteristic of the tempering process and helps distinguish shim material from general stock. The assorted pack covers six imperial thicknesses — from .005" through to .032" — making it a practical choice wherever precise gap setting or component alignment is required. Engineers, toolmakers, and fabricators will find this selection particularly useful for machinery setup, bearing housing adjustment, and die setting work where multiple thickness trials may be needed.
