SIA licenses enable customers to optimize their software usage, easily manage licenses across their network infrastructure, and ensure seamless upgrades to the latest versions of IOS XR Software. SIA term contracts are designed per system, offering coverage for one system. A system maybe a fixed box device or a line card. In FCM 2.0 SIA is now associated at a platform or box level than at a port level. This change has been made to simplify the customers license management experience.
