The Priory 16mm (5/8 in) Wad Punch is a practical medium-to-large size, perfect for applications requiring substantial holes or discs. This diameter is commonly used for larger belt fittings, industrial gaskets, and leatherwork projects where generous sizing is needed for hardware or functional requirements. Constructed as a one-piece forging, the 16mm punch incorporates a ground and polished tapered section that ensures smooth penetration through soft materials whilst delivering consistently clean cuts. The tapered profile reduces the force required for punching, making it easier to work through thicker materials. The robust forged construction provides exceptional durability for professional workshop use, whilst the polished finish minimises friction and prevents material adhesion. Ideal for industrial applications, leather goods manufacture, and craft workshops requiring reliable larger-diameter punching capability.
