Vans Knu Skool/Denim Blue/ VN0009QCDNB. Key Specifications:. A modern, oversized reinterpretation of the 1990s skate aesthetic. While the Knu Skool line is traditionally defined by its chunky, puffed-up silhouette, this specific model (SKU VN0009QCDNB) is often referred to as "Light Blue" or "Denim Blue" due to its distinctive tonal palette.. Design Highlights:. Vans Knu Skool Light Blue (VN0009QCDNB): This model features a premium suede and textile upper in a light blue or "denim" hue, paired with a bold, 3D-moulded Sidestripe for a dramatic look.. Oversized Design: True to its 90s roots, the shoe is defined by an extra-puffed tongue and a heavily padded ankle collar, providing a much thicker profile than the classic Old Skool.. Chunky Detailing: Includes oversized, chunky laces and a unique 3D quilted diamond Sidestripe that adds significant texture and modern edge.. Ease of Entry: Features a convenient heel pull tab, an addition to the classic design intended to make the shoe easier to put on and take off.. Signature Sole: Built on the iconic Vans vulcanised rubber waffle outsole, ensuring traditional grip and a classic "Off The Wall" look.. Usage & Care:. Sizing and Fit: Experts suggest the Knu Skool fits True to Size (TTS). However, because the extra padding can make the toe box feel snug, users often recommend sizing up by a half size if you prefer a roomier fit or have wider feet.. Comfort: Highly rated for its "marshmallow-like" step-in feel due to the generous internal padding. Some users note it feels more secure and "locked-in" around the ankle compared to standard low-tops.. Durability: Reviewers highlight that the suede reinforcements in high-wear areas and the reinforced toe bumper make it a durable choice for both casual wear and light skateboarding..
