This wonderful piece of highly sought-after illustrative artwork was almost lost to the world altogether, but after a decade lost, we've managed to find and get this incredible book back into circulation! Flick Ford's artwork is world-renowned and this book is like a 176 page gallery of his tropical fish artwork for you to personally own and enjoy. It features seventy-five incredibly detailed, true-to-life watercolour portraits of some of the most iconic tropical fish species known in the aquarium hobby. The book includes descriptions of appearance, lifestyle and behaviour, as well as suggestions for their best upkeep in naturally decorated aquariums. The fishes biotopes are described along with the threats those environments face in the Americas, Africa and Australasia. In addition, the book also contains habitat maps and a glossary of scientific aquatic terms, and so it makes a perfect and unique combination of art and nature that is simply a must-have for any nature enthusiast
