The Thor Square Solid Brass Mallet is a precision striking tool designed for applications requiring a firm blow without damaging expensive or highly finished components. Manufactured from extruded brass rod, this professional-grade mallet delivers controlled impact force whilst protecting delicate surfaces from marring or deformation. The square head design provides a stable striking surface, and the tool is fitted with a durable wooden handle for comfortable grip and shock absorption. This brass mallet is ideal for positive blows on highly finished or closely ground machined parts throughout the aircraft, automotive and shipping industries. Tool and gauge makers rely on this type of mallet for precision work where surface protection is paramount. The brass construction also makes it suitable for bearing assembly in heavy industrial applications such as earth moving equipment, shipping and locomotive assembly. It is important to note that whilst brass mallets offer excellent non-marring properties, this particular tool is NOT recommended for non-sparking applications where specific safety requirements apply.
