The Bosch Anti-Splinter Guard is a plastic insert designed to prevent tear-out on the top surface of the material when cutting with a compatible Bosch jigsaw. It fits directly to the jigsaw's base plate, acting as a close-tolerance guide around the blade to support the wood fibres and deliver a cleaner, more finished cut. The guard is most effective when cutting with the grain or at a diagonal to it — common cutting directions when working with timber boards, sheet materials, or veneered panels where surface finish matters. For carpenters, joiners, and site contractors, this simple accessory can make the difference between a clean edge and a costly rework. Compatible with a broad range of Bosch jigsaws including the GST 12V-70, GST 140 BCE, GST 140 CE, GST 150 BCE, GST 150 CE, GST 1400 BCE, and GST 1400 CE Professional models.
