This Bosch X431 Standard Flap Disc for Metal is supplied as a single disc in 115mm diameter with a 60g (medium-coarse) grit, offering a balanced combination of material removal and surface finish quality. It is particularly effective on edges, welded seams, and coarse-sanded metal surfaces where a step up in finish from initial grinding is needed. The semi-friable aluminium oxide grit is robust and wear-resistant, producing a consistent result throughout use. X-cloth backing delivers the stability required for controlled, even grinding, while the fully synthetic resin bond ensures the grit holds firm in demanding applications. Fitting standard locking nut angle grinders via a 22.23mm bore, this disc is an excellent all-round choice for intermediate metalworking passes.
