This Bosch EXPERT R781 Prisma Ceramic Fibre Disc is supplied in a pack of 25 x 100mm discs at 80 grit — the finest option in the range, suited to lighter grinding, smoothing welds, and refining metal surfaces where a cleaner result is required after initial stock removal. Despite the finer grit, the disc still benefits from Bosch Prisma Ceramic technology — perfectly triangular shaped grains that cut more effectively than standard ceramic grains. The self-sharpening effect causes these grains to fracture evenly as they wear, exposing new sharp edges and maintaining consistent performance across the disc's full working life. Cooling aids in the top coat help manage heat build-up during use, protecting the workpiece surface and extending grinding sessions. The cambered disc design prevents curling, ensuring an excellent, consistent fit to the backing pad for reliable, high-quality results.
