The Bessey GRA claw clamp with 1000mm clamp capacity and 120mm throat depth is the largest model in the range, designed for substantial workpieces and longer-span clamping applications. This extended-reach variant is ideal for large fabrication projects, furniture making and structural assembly work where you need maximum clamping capacity combined with the unique advantages of the GRA claw design. Even at this extended length, the clamp maintains the full 8,000 N clamping and spreading force, ensuring secure holding power across the entire span. The mechanism positioned behind the rail continues to provide clear access to your work area, whilst the externally-positioned spindle remains protected from welding spatter. This makes it particularly valuable in fabrication shops and welding environments where larger assemblies are routine. Despite its 1000mm capacity, the clamp weighs just 4.3kg, offering excellent handling characteristics for such a long-reach tool. Features and Benefits: • Extended 1000mm capacity for larger workpieces and assemblies • Clamping and spreading force up to 8,000 N maintained across full length • Externally-positioned spindle protected from welding spatter • Clear access to work area • Robust construction suitable for demanding fabrication work Specifications: Clamp Capacity (Length): 1000mm Throat Depth: 120mm Opening: 1000mm Rail section width: 28mm Rail section thickness: 11mm Weight: 4.3kg
