The Starrett A15 is a 300mm (12") arbor extension designed to increase the reach of standard hole saw arbors with 9.5mm (3/8") shanks. This precision extension is ideal for drilling through thick materials or in situations where extra depth is required beyond the capacity of a standard arbor setup. Manufactured by Starrett, a respected name in precision cutting tools, this extension allows tradespeople to tackle demanding applications such as drilling deep holes in wall cavities, working through double-stud walls, or accessing recessed areas where a standard arbor cannot reach. The 9.5mm shank ensures universal compatibility with most professional hole saw arbor systems. The extension is supplied in a protective plastic tube for safe storage and transport between job sites. Its 300mm length provides substantial additional reach whilst maintaining the rigidity needed for accurate drilling, making it an essential accessory for electricians, plumbers, and carpenters who regularly encounter deep drilling requirements.
