The Festool SP-TS 55/5 Splinter Guard is a specialist saw accessory designed to eliminate splintering on the right-hand side of the blade during circular saw cuts. Fitted in place of the viewing window on compatible Festool TS 55 saws, the splinter guard works by allowing the running saw blade to cut directly through the guard itself on first use. This self-trimming process ensures a precise fit to the exact profile of the blade, producing clean, splinter-free results on every subsequent cut. The guard is height-adjustable, making it equally effective whether you are cutting with or without a guide rail. A clear blade-edge marking at maximum saw depth helps with accurate positioning before cutting begins. Ideal for door cut-outs and panel work where a clean finish is essential, this accessory is compatible with all saw blades and is a straightforward addition to any Festool TS 55 setup. Features and Benefits: • Self-trimming design adapts precisely to the saw blade on first use • Height-adjustable for use with or without a guide rail • Blade-edge marking at maximum saw depth for accurate cut positioning • Compatible with all saw blades • Produces clean, splinter-free cuts to the right of the blade Contents 5 Splinter Guards
