The Makita Genuine 651472-8 Switch ST220KDY-1 (D) is a factory-original on/off toggle switch designed to restore reliable switching control to compatible Makita corded tools and machinery. Supplied directly under Makita's own MPN 651472-8, this is a genuine service-grade component built to the manufacturer's own standards for electrical conductivity and insulation. It is the correct like-for-like replacement when the original switch labelled ST220KDY-1 (D) has worn, fused, or failed. The switch suits corded Makita equipment that uses a panel-mounted toggle format, including stationary tools and bench units where a positive, deliberate on/off action is required. Its construction is intended to withstand the demands of regular workshop and site use, delivering consistent start/stop performance under normal operating conditions. Because this is a genuine Makita part, it carries the manufacturer's coding for accurate parts matching and is built to fit precisely where the original switch was specified — removing the uncertainty associated with aftermarket alternatives. Features and Benefits: • Genuine Makita part (MPN 651472-8) for assured compatibility and fit • Positive toggle action provides clear on/off control, operable with gloves • Service-grade construction suited to workshop and site environments • Stable electrical contacts for consistent switching and reduced arcing under normal use • Like-for-like fit where ST220KDY-1 (D) is specified • Manufacturer coding supports accurate identification and parts matching • Helps restore safe, reliable operation and extend compatible tool service life
