The Makita 422584-2 Shroud is a genuine OEM spare part designed to protect the front housing of compatible Makita cordless impact wrenches, including the DTW300 and DTW302 models. Manufactured from hard-wearing rubber/elastomer in a black finish, the shroud provides a durable outer cover that shields the gear case from knocks, dust and jobsite debris. Its precise OEM dimensions ensure an accurate, secure fit without the need for modification, reducing movement at the housing during use. Replacing a worn or damaged shroud helps preserve internal components and limits cosmetic wear to the tool body — important for contractors and tradespeople who rely on their impact wrenches for daily use. The shroud is lightweight, straightforward to install and suitable for site work, workshop tasks and service environments alike. Features and Benefits: • Genuine Makita part (OEM No. 422584-2) for assured compatibility and quality • Durable rubber/elastomer construction resists wear, knocks and everyday abrasion • Accurate fit for DTW300 and DTW302 models with no modification required • Shields the gear case from dust and debris to support reliable tool operation • Lightweight design maintains comfortable handling without adding significant weight • Black finish blends with the tool and conceals marks from daily use • Simple installation helps minimise downtime during maintenance
