The Makita 650759-5 is a genuine OEM replacement switch designed to restore reliable power control to Makita DJR187 and DJR360 reciprocating saws. When a reciprocating saw develops intermittent operation or fails to start altogether, a worn or failed trigger switch is a common culprit. This genuine Makita part provides a like-for-like replacement, matching the original specification precisely so no modification is required during installation. The robust plastic housing and durable metal contacts are built to handle the demands of regular site use, including exposure to dust and vibration. Because this is a genuine Makita component rather than an aftermarket alternative, it integrates directly with the existing handle assembly and wiring layout of the tool. This makes it a practical choice for contractors and service technicians looking to return a saw to full working order quickly and confidently. It is equally suited to workshop repairs carried out by competent DIY users.
