The Makita Comet Electroplated Diamond Cutting Disc for Marble in the 230mm diameter is the largest option in the range, purpose-built for tackling substantial cutting tasks in marble, natural stone, and similar materials. This size is the go-to choice for professional contractors cutting full marble slabs, large format tiles, or thicker stone sections where a smaller disc simply won't have the reach. The electroplated diamond bond technology ensures consistent, high-performance cutting from the very first pass, with no break-in period. The 1.5mm thickness strikes the right balance between rigidity and precision, reducing the risk of kerf cracking or surface chipping — critical when working with premium marble on high-specification projects.
