This Makita 6mm x 533mm Abrasive Sanding Belt in 40 grit is the coarsest option in the range, designed for aggressive stock removal and heavy-duty material shaping. At 40g, this belt is the go-to choice for tradespeople who need to strip back surfaces quickly — ideal for initial passes on rough timber or tackling rust and scale on metal components. The narrow 6mm width allows access to tight and confined areas that wider belts simply cannot reach, making it particularly effective on door edges, window frames, and automotive bodywork. The cloth backing ensures durability under sustained professional use, while the aluminium oxide abrasive maintains cutting efficiency throughout the belt's working life. Supplied in a pack of 5, these belts keep you stocked up and productive on site.
