The Makita A24R Long Life Metal Depressed Grinding Disc in 230mm is the largest disc in the range, designed for professionals tackling heavy-duty grinding tasks that demand maximum material removal in minimum time. Suited to 230mm large angle grinders, this disc is the preferred choice for extensive weld seam grinding, structural steel preparation, and other high-volume metalworking operations on major construction projects. The A24R-BF aluminium oxide abrasive grain delivers an aggressive, sustained cut capable of handling the toughest ferrous metal surfaces, while the long life construction significantly extends the working life of each disc — reducing cost per job and keeping interruptions to a minimum. The 6mm thickness provides the robust rigidity essential when working under the increased torque of a large angle grinder. Features and Benefits: • A24R-BF aluminium oxide abrasive provides maximum cutting aggression for heavy-duty tasks • 230mm diameter maximises surface coverage for high-volume grinding applications • Depressed centre design maintains clearance and control even under load • 6mm thickness delivers the rigidity demanded by large angle grinder use • Long life formulation reduces disc consumption and lowers running costs on site Specifications: Diameter: 230mm Grit: A24R-BF Bore: 22.23mm Thickness: 6mm Pack Quantity: 1
