The Sealey VS7115 is a 3/8" drive cap-type oil filter wrench designed specifically for removing oil filters on Renault dCi 2.2 G9T and 2.5 G9U engines. Built for workshop and garage use, it provides a reliable, secure grip on the filter housing during service and maintenance work. The crowned top design creates additional leverage points, making it significantly easier to break free stubborn or over-tightened filters without resorting to improvised tools. This is a common challenge during routine oil changes on these Renault diesel engines, and having the correct specialist socket makes the job cleaner and more efficient. Constructed from aluminium alloy, the wrench is engineered to engage the filter firmly while minimising the risk of damage to the filter housing — an important consideration when working on modern diesel engines where components can be costly to replace.
