The Sealey 115mm 60 Grit Aluminium Oxide Fibre Backed Sanding Disc provides medium grit performance across a broader working surface. This 60 grit specification in the popular 115mm diameter is ideal for intermediate surface preparation, removing scratches left by coarser grits, smoothing previously worked surfaces, and general-purpose sanding on both wood and metal substrates. The 115mm diameter fits standard 4½-inch angle grinders and portable disc sanders, offering excellent coverage for improved productivity whilst maintaining good control. The 60 grit represents a versatile middle ground – aggressive enough to remove material efficiently yet refined enough to leave a reasonably smooth surface. The aluminium oxide abrasive ensures consistent performance, whilst the fibre backing provides the durability needed for extended working sessions. Supplied in a pack of 25, these discs are perfect for workshops and construction sites where versatile, all-purpose sanding capability is required. The 60 grit specification is particularly useful for preparing surfaces that will receive subsequent finer sanding or direct coating applications.
