The Sealey SGV100L is a SG Iron swivel base bench vice designed for tradespeople and serious DIYers who need a reliable, versatile clamping solution for metalwork, woodwork, and general repair tasks. Constructed from spheroidal graphite (SG) iron, this bench vice offers superior wear resistance, fatigue strength, and impact resistance compared to standard cast iron alternatives. The 100mm hardened steel jaws deliver a firm, stable grip on a wide range of materials, making it a dependable workhorse for day-to-day workshop use. The swivel base is a particularly practical feature, allowing you to rotate the vice and reposition your workpiece across multiple angles without unclamping. This saves considerable time on multi-angle tasks. A flat anvil surface on the rear of the vice adds further versatility, providing a solid surface for light hammering or shaping work. Three mounting holes on the base allow for secure fixing directly to a workbench, ensuring the vice stays firmly in place under load. Note that fixings are not included.
