This 1/4" BSPT male thread coupling is the compact option in the Draper Vertex range, ideal for applications requiring a smaller thread connection. The quarter-inch BSPT fitting makes it perfect for lighter air tools and equipment where space is at a premium, whilst still delivering full professional performance. Designed for use with standard adaptors, this coupling features the BSP taper design that ensures reliable sealing and connection integrity. The double action mechanism is a key safety feature, preventing accidental disconnection during operation and making it particularly suitable for trailing hose applications where the hose may be moved or dragged across workshop floors. Despite its compact size, this coupling doesn't compromise on performance, offering a maximum airflow rate of 1197L/min (42cfm) at 6.9bar (100psi) and a robust maximum working pressure rating of 13.8bar (200psi), ensuring it can handle demanding workshop environments.
