The Sealey 5 Piece Oxygen Sensor and Thread Chaser Set is a specialist automotive tool kit designed for removing and servicing oxygen sensors on modern vehicles. This comprehensive set combines dedicated lambda sensor sockets with thread repair chasers, making it ideal for mechanics and automotive technicians working on exhaust and emission control systems. The oxygen sensor sockets feature strategic cut-outs and slots that accommodate wiring harnesses, allowing the sockets to slide over cables without disconnection. The set includes multiple socket configurations across both 3/8" and 1/2" square drives, with straight, deep, offset and high-clearance options to access sensors in various locations around the exhaust system. Two thread chasers are included for cleaning and repairing damaged sensor threads in M12 x 1.25mm and M18 x 1.5mm sizes, covering the most common oxygen sensor thread specifications. This dual functionality makes the set particularly useful for addressing seized or corroded sensors where thread damage is common. All components are supplied in a protective storage case for organised workshop storage.
