The 160mm capacity Bessey TG 2K offers an excellent balance between compact size and practical reach, making it a versatile choice for general workshop applications. With an 80mm throat depth, this model is the smallest in the range to benefit from the integrated Bessey anti-slip system, where a moulded set screw interlocks with the rail serration to prevent dislodging during clamping operations. Weighing 0.66kg, this clamp remains highly portable whilst providing substantial clamping capability. The 25 x 6mm profiled rail delivers excellent torsional rigidity, whilst the serrated malleable cast iron arms ensure powerful, rigid clamping with the full 6,000N force. This size is particularly popular for cabinet making, frame assembly, and medium-sized joinery work where you need professional holding power without the bulk of larger clamps. The powder-coated finish protects against workshop wear and corrosion.
