The Moore & Wright 33124 Firm Joint Outside Caliper with 600mm (24in) effective leg length is the largest model in the range, designed for measuring substantial components and large-scale engineering applications. This extended length makes it particularly valuable in heavy industrial settings, fabrication workshops, and wherever larger external dimensions need to be accurately measured. Constructed from polished tool steel, this 600mm caliper incorporates a large headed nut and screw assembly that creates a firm and rigid friction joint with no play. This robust design ensures stability and accuracy even at this extended size, whilst the measuring capacity extends approximately one-third beyond the stated leg length.
