The Festool FS OF 1400 Guide Rail Adaptor is a precision accessory designed to guide the OF 1400 router safely and accurately along a Festool guide rail. Attaching directly to the router using the rods supplied with the machine, the adaptor integrates seamlessly into your existing Festool system. A fine adjustment wheel allows the distance from the guide rail to be set to a tenth of a millimetre, ensuring consistent, repeatable results across the full length of a cut. An additional handle on the adaptor provides secure, confident control during use, while a dedicated support prevents the router from tilting on the guide rail — a critical feature when working with precision joinery or surface detailing. The adaptor is ideally suited to tasks such as grooving rear panels, recessing dovetail batons, and routing plasterboard using the guide system's edging technique. It is particularly well suited to decorative grooving and surface recess work where straight, accurate routing is essential. Features and Benefits: • Fine adjustment wheel sets guide rail distance to a tenth of a millimetre for precise, repeatable cuts • Anti-tilt support keeps the router stable and correctly positioned on the guide rail • Additional handle provides safe, controlled handling during operation • Installs using the rods already included with the OF 1400 router — no additional fixings required • Compatible with Festool guide rail system for grooving, dovetail baton recessing, and edging applications
