The Makita 143951-5 Hammer Case is a genuine OEM replacement part designed to restore the hammer mechanism housing on Makita DTD154 series brushless cordless impact drivers. Manufactured to Makita's factory tolerances, this metal-construction hammer case provides the structural housing that keeps the hammer and anvil correctly aligned during operation. A damaged or worn front case can compromise drive consistency and accelerate internal wear, making timely replacement essential for maintaining tool performance on site. This genuine part is precision-fitted for the DTD154, DTD154RTJ, and DTD154Z models, ensuring a secure, like-for-like replacement without affecting the tool's balance or handling. Compatible with standard workshop tools for installation, it supports routine maintenance and repair for contractors, engineers, and tradespeople looking to extend the working life of their 18V brushless impact driver rather than replace the whole tool.
