This Bosch EXPERT R781 Prisma Ceramic Fibre Disc is supplied in a pack of 25 x 100mm discs at 36 grit — the coarsest option in the range, making it the ideal choice for aggressive stock removal and heavy weld grinding on fabricated metal workpieces. The coarse 36 grit cut is powered by Bosch Prisma Ceramic technology, featuring perfectly triangular shaped grains that bite into metal faster and more efficiently than standard ceramic grains. The self-sharpening effect means those triangular grains fracture evenly during use, continuously exposing new sharp edges to sustain rapid material removal throughout the disc's life. Cooling aids built into the top coat help displace heat as you work, protecting the workpiece and allowing longer grinding sessions. The cambered disc design prevents curling, ensuring a consistent fit to the backing pad for best results.
