The Sealey E312 4mm Arc Welding Electrodes in a 1kg pack are designed for heavier-duty applications where greater penetration and faster deposition rates are required. The 4mm diameter makes these electrodes ideal for thicker materials and situations where you need to build up weld volume efficiently whilst maintaining the specialist properties needed for dissimilar steel welding. These robust E312 electrodes are specifically engineered for joining different types of steel, making them essential for structural repair work and heavy fabrication projects. The larger 4mm diameter allows for faster coverage of larger areas whilst maintaining the excellent crack resistance that the E312 specification provides. Whether you're using AC or DC welding equipment, these electrodes deliver consistent, reliable performance in all welding positions. The highly crack-resistant characteristics are particularly valuable when working with thicker sections and dissimilar materials. These electrodes also provide an excellent buffer layer before hardfacing applications, making them invaluable for maintenance scenarios where worn components require rebuilding before protective hard surfacing is applied.
