Diesel may have a tough, intimidating appearance, but behind his intense eyes and brawny physique lies a heart of gold. Rescued while running along the railroad tracks in High Point, NC, Diesel has proven time and again that looks can be deceiving. He is a gentle and loving soul who effortlessly gets along with other dogs. His love for companionship extends beyond the canine world—Diesel regularly visits his owner’s workplace and has even made appearances at nursing homes, where his high spirits and warm personality bring joy to everyone he meets. Though he was the one rescued, it seems that Diesel was destined to rescue hearts everywhere he goes.  "A gentle heart often hides behind a tough exterior.”
